Allow myself to introduce myself.....The names Tony and I'm from S.E Michigan. I have been lurking around this site for about a week and finally decided to join. From what I have seen this is the best site out there.  This is my first real hard water season (went twice last year and have been hooked ever since). I mostly target perch but would like to learn how to catch them walleye. I'm looking forward to learning alot from this site.

Welcome to the site. Be careful on the ice.  You will learn to read the ice conditions as you gain experience. Good fishing

I'm from Saint Clair shores, mainly fish lake St. Clair - Metro Beach Area.  This year I have been out to cotton road - didnt do so well, conger bay - didnt catch anything, and fairhaven - only dinks.  How bout you? where you from

Welcome!! I'm a Michigander myself, but the USN has placed me in Maine for a few years and am lovin it. Be careful this site is VERY ADDICTING.. Good luck and take lots of pics!

welcome to the shanty site! ;D  you just joined some of the weirdest, but smartest people about the hardwater!  get acquainted with the site and just enjoy all these fishing stories that are told.  everyone here including myself, catch big fish, but never have any pictures to show for it!  hmm, interesting.  lol. ::)
