Any reports form up there?  How is the ice? Want to take the kids up there this weekend but not if it isn't safe.

I have heard that the ice should no longer be considered safe at sherman from guys that were out on it and there was 16" last week.  It might still be good at the refuge, that is a ways further north yet than sherman.  You could try calling a bait shop up that way.

Just got a report from an avid angler from the area states the ice is going fast and is not safe as of thursday the 28th. :( :(

Report from a guy who came in last night is that yesterday was probly gonna be it.  Said that the ice was very honeycombed and was not gonna be safe anymore.
