« on: Jan 16, 2008, 08:53 PM »
Are there any good ice fishing lakes near Platteville, WI? Looking for Walleye, Perch or big gills. Might be traveling there for a few days and wanna ice fish if I can!

THANKS!

Gov Dodge park in Dodgeville can be good for panfish, Blackhawk Lake by Highland can be good on the right day/time. Also not too far from the Mississippi river, lots of good areas along there

Im from Platteville, try going to yellow stone for the crappies in the early morning on the side of the dam.  Also try some spots on the Miss.  Bertom Lake is good along with Oleary's lake right next to lock and dam 11.  Let me know how you do!
