Hillsdale Area Ice Conditions

Anyone cheked out the ice around Hillsdale area? Any chance of fishing Monday morning? I have the day off work. Thx

I'm heading out today to check Long and a few other lakes. I'll post if I find anything.

I checked Long and Round and there is no way anyone is fishing Round in the next 2 weeks. Open water everywhere. As for Long there is about 2 1/2" in  the cove and there are people fishing. No one on the narrows as of yet but I'd give it a few days before there is.

Part Timer, Thanks for the report. I wanted to try Bawbesse 3rd lake tomorrow but the ice is probably no good. Should be good by next weekend.

Drove by Third lake today and there was a portable smack dab in the middle of the lake!!!!!The truck was parked at the M99 launch so they went out from there.  Unfortunately Boot lake across the road is largely open water. But at least we have Third.  Good Luck and BE CAREFUL

There were about 30 guys on Long on reading today from what I heard, 2nd hand information.
