Fished Finger lake today, it was balmy in the 40's with a constant South Easterly wind. I fished on the north side of the island located in the middle of the lake in 10 FOW using shrimp on a glowing tear drop and caught a ton on small stocker salmon. It was pretty much as fast as I could drop a line down the hole with bait I'd have a fish on. They were biting really light and I could only hook them on the up-jig. I marked several large fish on my fish finder but I did not catch anything over 8 inches. There's a good 24"+ of ice out there and several folks were driving their vehicles around the lake.
Tight Lines and Good Luck!
