Something got hooked today

Last year my wife started ice fishing with me. She went once and thought it was neat (cold day with just tip-ups). This year the has been out twice so far. 1st trip she caught her first fish (huge pickerel) on the jigging rod while using my flasher she thought that was the best. Anxiously she wanted to go with my son and I again. Today she caught a huge white perch on the jigging rod inside of my heated shanty while WATCHING IT ALL ON THE CAMERA. She was excited and now hooked on the sport of ice fishing.

She probably thought you were nuts for sitting out there freezing your bass off. Now she can't wait to go again and feed that adrenalin junky. People just don't get it until they try it. Should make christmas shopping for her alot easier. The more the merrier.

On the way home she was pegging me with "where are we going next weekend?"

But next weekend is the maiden voyage for my new toy (snowmobile - note the mobile part of that, ha ha). Should make getting to spots a lot easier.
