Excelent Day Out Fishing
« on: Dec 28, 2007, 10:34 PM »
Well my dad and I went out fishing while I was on break from college. Its nice being out on the ice for a change! Oregon supplied me with more than enough perch and crappie, but i am glad to be back for a few days.

Here is our results!

The biggest fish was 5.5 lbs cought deadsticking a chunk of herring.

I only keep lakers once or twice a year. I know they take forever to grow. But I loooove a good ole baked lake trout!

Oh by the way I cought the two biggest honestly!

Doesn't look like a lot of snow on the lake ??? Was it easier for you this time getting down to the lake and back up again with all your gear or did you snomachine in?

Great catch and I'm glad you had a fun time with your dad before you left. You should postem in the photo area. People are screaming because no one is hardly posting fish picturesin there.

I will have to find the pics of the 24lb laketrout. No I cought it a few years back, but i remember it like yesterday, everytime i drop down i imagine somehting that big or bigger getting ready to inhale it.
