Dave Genz. The "Godfather".
He and the Thorne Brothers from South Saint Paul invented the ice rods that most of us use today.
- Good fishing.

Homer Simpson caught General Sherman the 500lb catfish, and while it wasn't through the ice, I'd still like to hear his fishing tips. ;D

Vince Lombardi, to teach me patience, determination, and perserverance, especially on those slow days of fishing.  ;)
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

I'm with you on that one.

Dave Genz, Doug Stange, or Al Lindler b/c they are all incredible fisherman in their own right.

I think Brian "Bro" Brosdahl would be a good interview. I don't think he would mind a long conversation while enjoying a few pops.

I'd say Stange or Brosdahl.  I'd avoid Genz at the risk that'd he'd sell me on one those atrocious Genz reels from Taiwan (again). LoL
Seriously, I'd also love to at least shoot the poop with a few guys from IS as well, we have some great knowledgeable folks right here.

Stange, Linders, or maybe Roach.  I prefer fisherman over networkers.  I am not going to mention names, but anyone can catch fish if they have a guide set them right on top of them and tell them what to use.

Stange, because he waxes so poetically over all things fishing. I don't want a lesson, I want good conversation. Then I'd have him cook me a meal!!!
