Clare county Ice report??????????

Any one been out and how much ice? Would like to find some gills & perch.

There has to be good ice somewhere nearby you. There are people fishing in some areas of Montcalm and Kent counties. Just be cautious and check ice as you go.

Would like to go to cabin near lake George and spend the week if the ice is 4to 6 inches and try for some gills.

I went out to Nestor Lake today and caught 2 bass. One was a 5 lb. 20 and a half incher.  There was a good four inces of ice.  I got a ticket from the dnr for having 3 lines out though.  Its located on Mannsiding rd. right by Baily Ave.

I was out in gladwin county this weekend. There is some safe ice somewhere in clare I assume

ice is great at Lake George, Budd, Long, etc

we are getting perch on bud  lake George do good on the slabs long lake the walleye is slow but all the lake in Clare county are good to go except for the bayou

I live in clare county and have been fishing for a week now.  There is anywhere from 5 to 8 inches of ice.  I have resorted to my power auger already.  Kind of cool to see someone on the sight that fishes in my county.

How much snow did you get from sundays storm? We have cabin near Lake George and are coming up for weekend of fishing.

Wow there are other people from clare county on here. I am amazed. If anyone is in need of a fishing buddy let me know. Always looking for a reason to fish. I went to lil bremer lake or that's what I think its' called off of mansiding on rodgers road. I caught a 28 inch pike.
