Stay with a gravel/sand bottom by a weed bed possibly. If you fish at night stay shallow, during the day stay deep.

Try to locate bait fish, find the small schools and you'll find MR.EYE.

Well said my friend. Dad got a 21" saturday at 12:30 pm in 7fow. I got a nice 18" bout a hour earlier. Lake is mostly soft bottom, found a harder bottom and they were there. We got 9 between the two of us last wednesday in the same spot. Miss a lot of them they take it a ways then drop it. Try cover first if you don't get anything try the most unlikely spot, you might get lucky.
