Transcona is an area in the east part of Winnipeg.

I grew up in Transcona, now I live off of Henderson Hwy.  Anyways me and my buddies usually head out somewhere most weekends, and occasionally during the week, I find the more the merrier.  To me the social aspect is as much fun as the fishing( with the right guys), and the food when the BBQ comes along!  I don't know how to reply specifically to you and don't want to advertise my phone # or address, but if you are interested in heading out somewhere on Saturday( or some other wknd), most likely the Red, let me know on the site and we'll arrange something.  I'm no expert and can't promise you'll catch every time but I've been fishing all my life and we usually manage to do alright, if not we have fun anyways.  If you have a rod and bait I should have anything else you need to borrow while you get started.
