Aqua-Vu Showdown in Shallow/Weedy water?
« on: Dec 14, 2007, 09:48 AM »
Has anyone used a showdown in more shallow weedy water, like 5-10 feet of water with the weedsy up to the ice. Wondering how it reads vs the vex or marc? I have read that is works greate in depper water, but havent heard much about shallow weddy waters.

for that kind of water you have the right company jut the wrong product.....I dont know about most guys here but with the conditions you just described I would be turning off my vex and turning on my aquavu camera. depending on how much weed we are talking about

I fish a lake that has areas like you described and my flasher wont work there as it reads depth of 4' in 10-15' of water.

If you fished with a Marcum flasher you wouldn't have that problem!!  [ sorry crappiekid...had to say it  :P ]

Seriously though...I would agree with icejunky...Those are the kinds of conditions cameras were created for.
