Since you're from NY, I'd order them from someplace closer like wholesalebait.com or grubco.com. They're in Ohio. Vados is in Minnesota. You might get them a day quicker that way.

I have never used wax worms before what are their primary use? only for pans

Nope, have snagged a few eyes on them too.  Mostly for gils, crappie, & sometimes perch for me, but you never know!

I was just at Vados today, they have LOTS in store and you can buy 500 for about the same price at 3 dozen.
