probably around 40-50. i've never drag raced anybody in bluegill fishing so i don't have a hard number.

Probably 30-40 on a good day, the majority of which are dinks or not keepers at least.

probly 100. give or take ten. no size but u asked quanity. quality? 25 that were between 9 and 12 inches. ;)

Anyone care to answer on this one? I haven't caught as many Gills per hour as many of you have....maybe 30 or so with about half being keepers, but it always seemed to be that last hour of light....4:30-5:30 or so PM. Right after the sun sets...WK

My best times seem to be mid morning. Lots of variables to consider though. If there is partly cloudy conditions, with a barometer that has been steady for 2 or 3 days, and considerable snow cover on the ice(3 to 5 inches),
they really turn on at around 9:30 to 11am. At least thats in my area on the local ponds. 30 to 40 per hour easy. Most of them dinks, but some really good fish mixed in.
