Seboeis Lake?
« on: Nov 21, 2007, 07:16 AM »
Just wondering if there is any access to this lake in the winter.
And if it's worth the effort, I have fished it in the summer and done o.k .
My uncle lives in Milo but will be moving soon so I was thinking about making one more trip up there to see him before he leaves Maine.  :'(
He's not going 5,000 miles away but it sucks that he's leaving Maine.
Seems like my family up there is getting smaller and smaller.
nobody left now except in Houlton.
Thanks for any info.

Nothing wrong with houlton at all. I have alot of memories eating moose and catchin brookies around houlton when I was a kid. I take pride in saying my family came from northern Maine. Salt of the earth up there.
I was going to move to Houlton in my 20's but the job hunt didn't pay off.

I don't know if they still plow the north end to the launch. I'll find out for ya .If ya gotta sled you can unload at knights landing on schoodic sled across that hit a trail that will take you to the south end of sebeois about 5 miles total . Never know what ya gonna catch splake ,salmon,w. perch , pickeral, and a few brookies. By the way whats your uncles name I might know him as I only live 1 town down from there. Hope this helps.
