I was fishing at West Goose in Roblin today and I don't think the winds reached over 40k....they were forecasting 70.
Caught a nice mess of perch though 10-13 inches, best action was between 5 and 6 pm.

the winds were crazy yesterday. drove home from the pas after a test yesterday and as soon as i left the porcupine mtns and hit the swan valley is was a like a blizzard.  couldnt see the road and cars coming the other way.  then you catch up to people driving 70km and trying to pass in that wind and not being able to see to well was kinda fun.  drifts all over the highway.  smoked one with my jetta and thought someone threw a big bag of snow of the back of there truck.

at least its calm outside today.  good luck to whom ever goes fishing

Sounds good to me.
I just walk to my spot, they usually aren't too hard to find.
