Plenty of ponds around you - West Washcunm(sp),Delaney,A-1,Chancey,Little Chancey,Barrlett, Qunisgmond,Flints,fort,spectacle,walhom,etc -check with ric's in West Boylston.
AND if your there in the spring you have one of the best fishing spots in MA - WACHUSETTS REV.

I am going to goout on the limb for this one and say that moose hates the resevior and that he only fished it once and will never go back there. HAHAHa i havent ever seen so many reports from one person on a single body of water as i have seen moose reporting about the resevoir

Shirley Res is awesome fishing 8) I have never ice fished it but have fished several tourneys there including a club this past fall I won with [email protected] with a 5.91lbs lunker Lots of milfoil.

lake shirley is drained down in the winter for weed control.....I think the deepest part in the winter is around the dam area....be careful if you head out there.

ever try mirror on devens??  it's a hike and a half to get down there but the fishing is usually pretty consistant.

i have open water fished lake shirley and did good on bass but i here there are salmon in it but i dont know if thats tru and yea theres alot of milfoil

gatta the the chu!!  haha thanks everyone for the help, ill proll be fishing fort pond (5 miles from house) and shirley lake, about 2 miles from house.. and yes come spring, ill be out in the woods surrounding the chu!!   again thanks! -moose   tightlines!
