If you got them this morning, yes they will for sure. I wouldn't freeze them if you don't have to, everything is better fresh! I would just keep the covered and drain them daily so they don't sit in that nasty water.

They should be fine. As MXFISHER said don't leave them sitting in water. Make sure you rinse them off and dry them on some paper towels before you eat them.

I take my fillets and put them in a Freezer bag zipper style, fill the bag 3/4 of the way full of fillets and then fill it up with water, seal and freeze, make sure to get all the air out. I have kept fish fresh for 2 years in the freezer and they were just as good as the ones I caught yesterday. If kept right you can have your fish taste just as good for Next Years supperbowl. I store alot of fish this way, I have never ate a bad fish!!!

freeze them or just put them in water with a fair bit of salt in it.

Thants the best way to keep fish! I used to do that with Shrimp when I was stationed in Louisiana. We would catch em with a cast net and fill a 5 gal bucket of 10-20 counts in 30-40 min. We'd pop off the heads and bag em with water and they would be good for a LONG time. Did the same with flounder fillets and it worked great.
