I see you are a newby and have only one post.  Make a few more.  Once you have over 5 I think you can access the 'fishing conditions and reports page'.  There is plenty of reports from Honeoye this past week on there.  Most guys are fishing the south end however.

There is 3-5 inches in most spots.  The fishing has been decent for me.  Good luck and be safe.

We went out of Trident on Sat.  --Tons of Gills  but not a lot of big ones--ice immediately south of there was too thin for our taste--just north was 3 or a little better--couldn't go very far west without concern.  Ice is spotty -spud it and be safe.  South end sounds like better ice and more of the nicer fish.

South end is pretty sound.  The fishing has been a little slower this year than in years past, but if you drill and move you can usually find enough for dinner and then some.  You just have to work a little harder, and drill a lot more holes.

Fished the south end Sunday afterrnoon.  Kept 15 gills from 8" - 9.5", threw back about 20 dinks.  Caught 3 sub legal calicos and 3 bass (best was 17") threw them back too. Waxies on a chartreuse jig. About 4 inches of ice where I was and not too much snow to insulate it either.

Does anyone have any info on where on honeoye I would should start to look for walleye?  Never caught one through the ice and only 3 in my brief fishing history.  Wonder if anyone could help.

Either California ranch or Log Cabin point would be my first stop.  Good Luck!
