The ice isnt great but we have ice on most lakes. Cannon is wide open, Cedar has open water, Masaska has just one little spot open, French is probally the lake with the best ice, I am sure that Shields is get and for sure in Kaderlicks bay.

Hi TJ

I'm a newbie to IS - been hanging out about a month or so.

I used to fish the Faribault area more - but the last few years I've not
had as many chances.

The lake I fish the most (and know best) is Cedar - mainly for pannies.

Have also fished Hunt, French, Sheilds and Mazaska.

Last winter I was on Cedar once - got in to crappies - but they were small.

I have a buddy that lives on Cedar but I have not fished it much I grew up on French so that is the lake that I know the best But I have not got out much this year.

I exclusively fish south central MN, only 'cuz that's where I live. There are some good lakes down here, if you don't mind fishing with a crowd.

None around Faribault, Trumans by Fairmont- I usually go to Hanska, Cedar by Trimont, Iowa by Fairmont. In the summer, my aunt lives on Amber in Fairmont, so I usually go there.

I would agree it seems like people are getting way to trust worthy of the ice. Nice to see you joined. No Prob on the bracket.
