Looking for a good place to icefish in southern part of wisconsin will be coming up from central indiana on 1/29/07 through 2/1/07 would like to find some good panfish/jumbo perch please reply,thank you!

The ice in the southwest isn't very thick, its been too warm. Use caution. I've been fishing small lakes without a lot of success, either we do OK on tip-ups for bass/northern or the panfish seem to be either real slow or real small. People have been going through on the madison lakes, using ATV's and snowmobiles should be avoided. I talked with someone from Milwaukee and he told me the lakes that way just froze over last weekend. Good luck.
