Ice conditions at Goose lake?
« on: Feb 17, 2009, 08:34 PM »
Has anybody been on Goose recently? I'm thinking about making a run up that way this coming weekend and was wondering about the ice. I'd hate to drive 2 1/2 hours and not be able to fish. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

I had some friends fish Goose on Monday.  They said that there was about seven inches of good ice. They had good luck on gills in the reeds.  A few tip ups went off but no catches.  They fished in the boat dock area.
