Anyone been catchin them anywhere??? want to take my 13 yr old son but not sure where to go. Willing to travel, any help appreciated

Fishing for sea run smelt through the ice is done up here in Maine, the 4-5 inches of rain we got in the last 3 days busted the rivers wide open
