Nancy Lake State rec area
« on: Dec 14, 2006, 11:59 PM »
Has anybody ice fished any of these lakes for trout/char this year?  I'm thinking of heading out there in the coming week, if there is anything to fish.  I'm not asking for anybodies secret lakes/spots, but any info would be great.  I'd like to get out of town to try fishing, but not sure where to go out by that area.
Thanks,
FrozenMarc

This summer I fished South Rolly lake and caught a ton of small trout, but also saw some bigger ones.

I have fished Lynn lake a few times. Every time we went we caught at least a dozen or so fish.  Size range from 12in to 20in, but I saw a few larger fish go after my bait.  We tried a few spots that were all productive, but the best was just as you get on the lake off to the left.  We were using glow jigs with mealworms, and swedish pimples.  Fishing in about 20-25 FOW.
Fishing is not about life or death, it is much more important than that! And all I have to say is FISH ON baby.
