Let me know.

went out to finger lake. upon my arrival i saw three State Trooper Trucks. After getting out there i find  them drilling over 100 Holes. I guess they had a Children fishing event thingy going on. Well needless to say I didn't catch anything. I don't think anyone did good with all the noise, from 125 kids. Don't get me wrong, I think its great to get kids out there fishing. Anyways ill give it another later on.

ZACK-

I was on Big Lake around the same time (10pm-1am).  Was that you that I talked to around 10ish on the back side of Burnt Point?

I ended up taking my buddies that have never fished Big Lake (plus they don't really ice fish much either) and they each caught 2 burbot- I, on the other hand, caught nada!  Oh well.  The fish were caught in about 30 FOW using rattletrap and Northland minnow spoon.

Icy Mike-

I wasn't the one who you talked to because i didn't see anyone else out there, i was fishing off the second island to the left just past burnt point, but I'll probably be out again this weekend around the same time.

Hit Sand lake this weekend.  One 12" char and one 8" bow.  Very slow fishing.  Arrived at 9AM and had what looked like lake trout  mouth a rubber 4" pike imitation multiple times.  Of course not up to the hook, only about three feet under the ice.  The fish hung around a minute or two, it had white markings on fins and quite large.  Will have to try again. ;)

I was just jigging it slowly, just fast enough to get the tail to wiggle.  Only moving it vertical up to a foot.  About an 18" char was caught on it a couple weeks ago.  This weekend everything was caught jigging pimples.
