A Few Fish

Managed to snag a few fish this past week. Tuesday we went to Matlock. Slow, 1 Maria, 1 Walleye and 1 Perch.



Wendsday headed to the Red. Fished from 8 till 11. Windy and cold. Caught 3 Maria and 2 Walleye.
Friday morning it was back to the Red...this time I brought re-enforcements. They didn't help much but I landed about a dozen Sauger, 2 Walleye and my favorite...1 Burbot.



Sunday....Back to Matlock  ;D

Thanks for the report Ac. Is matlock accessable by vehicles or is the shoreline blown in too much?

How is the Ice thickness is anybody driving with vehicles on the Ice?

It's another word for burbot...ling cod...whatever else you may know it by, since this fish seems to be a fish of a hundred names.

We dumped the sleds off at the end of Chalet Beach road where there is no vechile access. I didn't see any vechiles out. Ice was between 12" - 18" thick. Today we are going to the end of Warner Rd. where there is normally vechile access. I will let you know later today what I see.
