Here are some pics from Sunday! Thanks Slip for taking us out, sorry about all the goose poop ;). Excellent walleye soup too, Patrick was telling everyone how good it was and what a great time we had.

Hey, Don't be posting my secret "stick" spots  :o   I don't want to see a bunch of guys there the next time catching my sticks ;D  People just don't realize how good a stick that size actually fights on 9 colors of lead ::)  Sure twigs might come in easy, but a stick THAT size, oh boy :P

Slip,
I find a weighted treble hook baited with an acorn works the best for catching sticks that large or larger.  ;)2

Wow! Nice stick! That's even bigger than Pinches wood!

Great fish too! Man I gotta fix the boat!

Nice fish for the most part. Way to go John. I too would rather catch a stick than a bass.

Hey ~
That wood you caught - was it morning wood?  Should it have lasted longer than 4 hours you may have needed to seek medical attention as least that's what they say on the television...

The best bait for that is usually cialas or the big v (viagra) and chasing it with a red bull.

Best ~
