Odyssey vs. Rogue vs. Power Noodle

Bored, waiting for ice.  Only cure is to drop a few bucks...

Mags Power Noodle, Elliott Odyssey Super Noodle, or JT Rogue - who ya got?  Good, bad, ugly for any of them.


Looking at 30" - 32", will have 4mm tungsten and maybe Tikka Flash tied on most of its life. Fishing crappie, bluegill, perch in 6 - 12 FOW.

I own all of those rods and you can't go wrong with any of them.  For me, I would say tie between the Mags and Elliott with the Rogue just behind.

Out of the 3, I only have the JT Rogue and it is a great panfish rod. I compare it against the TUCR Precision Noodle and the DH Customs AL Dente. I have to think they are all great rods and it would come down to personal preference once you get to have the rod in your hand.

Thanks for the input. Went with the Odyssey Super Noodle.

Was able to get to Scheels and handle both, standing in the aisle the Super Noodle "felt" better, lol.  Really like the syncork and the action was more to my liking. Time will tell, need a couple nights in the teens to make some better ice.

Would like to try a Mags someday but hate to order a ~$100 rod I can't touch first...
