No ice blues....and bronze

Well, I made it out on the ice 1 time this season and it was all about the kids. I have a trip planned up north in 2 weeks but that is not looking promising either and may have to cancel. Its been all about feeling blue with the lack of cold. Even duck season was terrible. If I learned anything over the years its how to adapt and not just sit around feeling awful about no ice. Sure I wish I had ice to fish on but fishing doesn't require ice to be successful this time of year. Adapt, what you know to work and make it work. First trip, 5 largest went 18.5lbs (posted on another thread). Second trip caught about 50 but 5 largest went 24lbs. All just under 5lbs. My new PB at 4.15 as well. Who says you can't use a flasher on a boat? Lol
