I  noticed that one on your other post with all the pictures...  I wondered if it was a midlife pike...  changing from a juvenile to adult markings..   Defintely a lot more yellow than usual...  a Good one for the Photo Album. and would make for good conversation if made into a replica...

I have no idea what to say.  It's too big to be a juvenile.  I'm thinking a cross breed with something else.  Only thing is, I don't think there are any cross breeds in Saskatchewan.  Which lake did you catch that on?
fishing - It's a religion, not a sport.

Very nice pike.. personally I don't think a fish has to be big in order to get a replica done.

Neat pike indeed pcsminer, a nicely marked fish indeed. 8)
I have seen some heavily marked fish before, both small and fairly large.
The pikes spot pattern, shape and spot size seem to be unique to every fish similar to your own fingerprints.
The larger spot patter does seem to be more common in certain bodies of water like Tobin Lake, lots of fish with that larger spot gene type.
