Amped Outdoors Service
« on: Dec 20, 2022, 08:13 AM »
About a month ago or so someone on here posted a link to a website that was having an auction, Keep America Fishing. Amped Outdoors had donated one of their new 15 amp hour batteries to the cause. I bid on it and got it. It was a fantastic deal that included the charger and the charging wire to adapt to my Vex28.  I’m a firm believer that 99.9% of transactions go smoothly but a company should also be judged by when they don’t. Through no fault of Amped my battery came damaged. I had already called amped a few more times than necessary to make sure they had the proper address and all that kind of thing for shipping  And I always ended up talking to Matt the owner. (There are times when I can be a real Putz).   Matt treated me like a king, answered all my questions and concerns like it was the first time he ever heard the question, and I’m sure it wasn’t. He returned emails at all times of the morning and night which I thought was also fantastic. But he didn’t question the damage, he put another one in the mail to me before I even sent the old one back . That’s incredible service in this day and age and I just wanted to say thank you to Matt and the folks at Amped publicly, you have a customer for life. I think we should thank outstanding service more often.

Yep! Matt has been a great guy here since day one. Very competitive pricing and terrific service.
To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

When I bought a bunch of batteries from him like 3 or 4 years ago, Matt was absolutely amazing explaining everything and helping me build a super high power battery box. I will not buy lithium batts from anyone but him.
