12 degrees in the Adks. this morning !

I saw ice on a small pond this morning in Northern Rensselaer county   

We had about 19 degrees I think

Yup it has sure been chilly at nite. Keep your fingers crossed that it lasts!

I just got back from Saranac Lake and there was ice on Lake Flower    All the beaver ponds and even some of the streams had iced over   One more good cold snap and we should be looking good. (I just put in an order with Grump to send me down some of that good ole Canadian cold air!)  I'm hoping by Dec. 10 that some of the smaller ponds will be good to go   Come on ICE 8)
