Vexilar unit ll
« on: Nov 05, 2022, 02:19 PM »
I don’t know where I heard - or thought I heard that all vexilars had a 1/4” target separation.

After I bought mine and read the specs- only a couple of the top end units have that capability.

Mine (an FLX 12 ) has one inch of target seperation.

Bummer

They have "target acquisition" of less than 1/4". Target separation of 1/2" when in the 10' depth range. I don't know what the target separation is when out of the 10' range, but my guess would be 1".
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

I have been a vexilar fl 12 user for 11 or 12 years now and I have fished with people using the FL 18, 20, 28 and 30. Truth be told the 12 does quite well and | have no desire to move up.
May your tip-up spool while your flag raises with hopes of landing the big one.

all that said, there are few instances where such crisp target separation is even required.
