Here in Cent. Wisconsin there is skim ice on the deeper lakes but some of the smaller and shallower ones have ice.  Going to be a while if the wind keeps blowing. It's going to warm up some later in the week and maybe some rain, so who knows.
Shut up and fish.

We have 9" of good ice on my home lake, I will be getting out the permanent shacks before long.

Ice capped on popular northeast Idaho lake then broke up then formed again. Fishable in spots. Weather warmed up and more open water appeared. Guys had to rescued after ice sheet broke off and stranded anglers.

Had 8 in of good solid ice the other day.
We had a Wheeler on the ice and he got around no problems.
No need for a canoemobile here in Alaska.
