Hole and a half

The Bro and I managed to get out for a couple of hours on Sun. north of Selkirk. I was surprised how thick the ice was, pretty much used all 42" of the Eskimo. After the 1st hole I noticed that there wasn't too much gas left and sure enough didn't have enough to finish the 2nd hole So being brothers and sharing most of our lives we set up the tent and made the most of it

I managed 1 dink sauger which is slightly better than being skunked. The Bro did not do as good . At the end of the day we had some laughs, the tent survived the horrible winds and I won't need to be reminded to top up the gas b4 we go out. Though I am sure I will be! Tightlines everyone.

did you guys have 2 lines down the 1 hole?

 You should of had all 4 lines down the one hole. With a different color of jig on each one.

Yes we had 2 lines down 1 hole , it works in a pinch , but you tend to get tangled if you start jigging at the same depth. We were jigging about a foot apart , but when a fish showed on the flasher, we both went for it and usually got tangled. Heading out this aft to the "bridge to nowhere" with a full tank of gas.
