trapping shiners in ponds
« on: Nov 29, 2006, 09:06 PM »
I have been trapping shiners in small ponds since  thanksgiving day.I use bread ,dry dog food an dry cat food  an placing my traps around trees above or in the water.I started at one pond with 7 shiners then the next day4 then 2 .I have switched to another pond an have caught 114 med to heavy med shiners since Monday. ;D ;D    I have a 300 gallon poly tank 3ft by 4 ft by  3 1/2 feet deep .I have wrapped rigged insulation around it an have it in my barn. NO paying high bait prices this year!!!!!
