Well we made it... Finally.... Ill be fishing in the morning somewhere

Reports on where and when tomorrow... Now its hot tub time

No fish yet... Couple marks... 1 big mark chased hard thought the wife was gonna get it but i think she bopped it on the noggin on the drop cuz it spooked

Well slow day... Lost what woukd ha e been my first whitefish... And it was a beast.... Hooked on a spoon with a dropper chain with a wiggler on it ... Had a few more come in a dusk but coukd t get em to bite... Had a great time.... Debating between skegemog or bear lake in the morning

Today we did a little shoppi g and stuff didnt fish long... Went to skegemog on the way home... Bite was solid caught around 50 fish in 3 hours brough home 16... Forgot to take a pic so i guess ill have to go to the river tomorrow to cstch more fish and take pics

Fished south lake leelanau butman rd launch... Tried from the 1st drop off out to 50fow... The wgiteys we coming into the big flat there between the launch and the deeper hole

Ice was solid on south... About 9 inches of clear... 6 inches of crusty snow on top made travel a little tough but not terrible.. No slush.....no idea about north i didnt go there but i went over the deepest holes on south at 60' and ice was the same there.....

Talked to a business associate who is in TC.
He said North Leelanau is good to go
The Bays unfortunately 😕 are not and probably won't be
We wanted to take a customer out on the Bay this winter.
Will have to settle for an inland lake

False, certain parts/bays on west bay are iced over...if this keeps up they’ll be fishing it by next Monday/Tuesday
