Leinenkugel's Coming to Boston
« on: Feb 01, 2007, 07:42 AM »
I just got an announcement that Leinenkugal's will finally be coming to the greater Boston area.

Jake and Dick are coming to a few bars in Boston so I'm packing up Mrs. Roacho and 2 Beaver Dam's and headed down.  I'm going to have them sign the bottom of all 3.

I'd rather be fishing!

I ordered them from the Leines website.

They are out now - my dad was just over at the brewery shop looking for one for my son.

Give them a call though - maybe they have some more in.

I wonder if sucking bombers down with my old Chippewa cousins and friends would still have the bad effect me as it did when I was 18-21. Sorry, couldn't stand myself in the mornings, had to switch brands. Leines Light once in a while, but thats the limit! Guess I don't have a taste for quality beer anymore, it was wrecked at an early age, ha! Just kidding, don't get all fired up Leines Fans!

I went to a little resturant up here in Northern Mass and they had Sunset Wheat on tap already.  I drank two pitchers and had Mrs. Roacho drive me home.

Now - I've gotta hit up the local package store to see if they can get Leine's Original in cans.

Well it's spreading.

I've found Sunset Wheat on tap at alot of locations.  I'm more of a Leine's regular type of guy but it's better than a Sam Adams.

If you have a SAMS store by you, they carry a cool combo pack like a case with four different types in it, and it's cheaper than SA.

Roacho,

I bet they will enjoy signing the bottom of the 3rd one as long as the misses doesn't mind!  Have you seen the new Leinies Summer Shandy?  It's a little lighter than the sunset wheat with a lemon taste, very nice on those hot summer days.  I feel bad for you guys, I'm only a couple miles from the Halo Ground and regularly take tours of the brewery and enjoy the frre beer at the end.  It's too bad that dey now limit you on how much you can have, oh ya it is a shame that dey no longer make da Northwoods!  You Betcha YA!!
