Heck, that thing doesn't seem that accurate, since the guy weighed a "nearly empty" one, and it measured the same as the "half full" one.

That's what I was thinking too... seems like a gimmicky inaccurate unitask tool. A kitchen scale would be way more accurate AND precise, and many people already have one
