Korkers Polar Vortex 1200
« on: Sep 22, 2020, 08:23 PM »
Does anybody have these boots? I just bought a pair on amazon and received them today. The description says they have a waterproof, breathable bootie but mine didn’t come with any booties. After scouring the internet I couldn’t find a picture of the bootie so I’m wondering if that is actually just part of the boot? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If it said it had them I would return them to Amazon or find out what the problem is.

From manufacturer
https://korkers.com/products/polar-vortex-1200
Waterproof: 100% Waterproof construction includes waterproof/breathable bootie, waterproof leather, webbing, and stitching keeping the foot bone dry.

Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Korkers-Polar-Vortex-Snowtrac-Icetrac/dp/B07HYC7DPQ
The Polar Vortex 1200 boots are waterproof with a waterproof/breathable bootie and uses 1200g of 3M Thinsulate insulation.

These look like my Korkers and they do not have a removable liner. They are not all that warm either. I hardly wear them except for off ice situations such as snow removal. I'd get a refund.

Fred, 4 ice house's! I think your the only one. WTG!

No removable bootie . I bought mine at scheels also . There are great on slick ice conditions! I’ve had muck Artics , kamiks & these are better than both of those , but still haven’t found any boots to keep my feet toasty like my old Lacrosse Iceman’s

With the waterproof boots that I have owned, the waterproof bootie was always a sewn in gortex liner. Maybe Korkers are like that.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

Thanks for the replies. It doesn’t seem like there is supposed to be a removable bootie.

I have the 600 now and also had their predecessor the Korker Ice Jack for years. Even the 600's are too warm to wear just running errands and are great on the ice. The interchangeable soles are the best, I'm sure you'll be more than happy with them and maybe too warm.

I like the looks of them quite a bit. I ordered my normal boot size and they fit well but I was expecting a breathable bootie like bama socks to come with them. I'm going to return them and get the next size up and wear my bama socks in them and I think they will be awesome Northern Maine ice fishing/snowmobiling boots.
