First CT Ice

I got out before the rain this week and found a solid 3.5-4 inches of ice (most was white ice). The first spot that we stopped at did not produce any fish but we ended up making a move and getting rewarded with many flags and a nice jigging bite.  Nonetheless, with the warm temperatures and rain from this week I don't think I'll be on hard water for another week or so. Thanks man I appreciate that. Maybe I’ll see you out there some day if we ever get safe ice again. This rain needs to stop.
