Crazy ice

This was taken March 5th from Sherman reservoir in Nebraska. The Nils was just breaking through at that depth. Nothing to hurt the ice in the 10-day forecast. There's supposed to be a walleye tournament April 13th there still might be ice on the lake then.

cool to see! so an extension doesn't work on the nils because of that plate on the top of it?

we have 7 inches of severely honeycombed ice with 60 degree temps next thrursday and 40's and 50's next week starting sunday.

In the top off the ice fishing trip the fish were just sniffers the nude swim away

We got another month here easily.

In January it was open water to get to that spot now where the open water was there's better than 14 in. It's pretty rare for Nebraska to hit 18 in.
