Nice Job. The chase paid!

I'll be out bright and early tomorrow scouring for them!

How's the ice holding up?

jigmup you seem to always find the nice ones when catching perch, just wandered what county are you from and what are you using to catch them. always happy to see your pictures of 12 inch perch you catch. used to catch them back in the day, but now lucky to
catch that many anymore. used to catch quality perch on james and jimmerson lakes in angola but few amd far between now.

Walleye_Wil, I'm from Randolph County but I fish Kosciusko, Whitley, Stueben, Noble, Lagrange and Fulton Counties mostly. There are others but those are primary counties.

Got them in 40’ water. They would swim in at 30-35’ ready to eat. I kept 8. Lost 5 or so on the way up. Buddy kept a few and lost just as many.

Rattle spoon tipped w beemoth. Bud used same type without rattle and didnt get as many.  One caught on a minnow “deadstick”

Sweet! Those will eat quite well! Way to go. I would have expected them to be shallower. Should be close to spawning I would think! Hex

Well that told me nothing... Been fishing maxi and Loomis in Valpo ice was good but won't be able to get out till after Saturday's thunder storm so wasn't sure if lakes would hold...anyways congrats on the perch...

ok then. Maxi and Loomis will hold up after the storm.

Any of them "up north" I feel will be ok. But what am I? Optimistic or an ice wizard? IDK how the hell its going to hold up................
