Thanks a lot for the info! We don’t have any ice here down state and I’m itching to get out there. I took my boat out on Cedar this past summer and didn’t really do good at all. I don’t get up there to fish nearly as often as I used to but it’s nothing like I remember it being! Maybe I’ll get lucky and find a few but it’ll just be nice to get out.
A buddy of mine will be getting a better report after he gets off work. It will be dark by the time I can swing by and check it. I'll update when I hear from him.From what I hear talking to folks at work, there are some good gills being caught if you find the right spot. -Kyle
That would be awesome! We only live a few houses down off of lake to lake. I remember fishing down by the bridge a lot when I was younger. Our neighbor would always come back with buckets of perch too! He would always bring us some over but he wouldn’t tell a soul where he caught them!
Just got word from my buddy, he didn’t get out on the ice after work. I’m not off until Sunday so I’m no help either. Knowing where you are now... you’re in a good spot. Stay just North of the bridge on the East side. There is a nice flat/weed bed - with a drop off. If you have a Flasher you should be able to find something. If you come into town stop by Roger’s. I’ll be there afternoon Friday and the majority of Saturday. Hope you get on them. -Kyle
No worries, you’ve been more than helpful! I was looking at my Navionics map last night and that is exactly where I was going to go lol. I do have a flasher so as long as the ice is good enough to trek around on I’ll find some! Did you guys get much snow yesterday evening? Looks like after the weekend you guys are in for a nice cold streak. We are still projecting 40s....

Absolutely! If that area I tried this evening doesn’t do well in the morning I’m going to shoot across the lake. Looks like there another hole about 6ft or so. I stopped by Rogers and picked up some waxies. After I left I started thinking maybe that was you I talked to? You mentioned something about swinging by there and I didn’t put it together until I left lol.
