Looking to head up that way in a couple weeks never fished on the hard water on nippising. Looking for someone to point me in the right direction to get on some walleye. Looking for a place to stay over night that’s close enough to the fishing grounds to walk out or an outfitter that’s well known. Thanks in advance guys !!

Callander bay is a good place to start.  Walk out to 15-20FOW and start fishing.  As well along lakeshore drive there are lots of access points and a lot of motels available for rent.  Sunset point is a popular area.

Do we need an auger extension up there yet?

We have about 12-14" of ice so you shouldn't need the extension yet.
