Hello Everyone,

I am new to IceShanty, but I have been fishing in Montana most of my life and love to fish. I just wanted to say hello and I look forward to gaining knowledge and helping out when I can.

welcome to the site. I have learned more about ice fishing from this community than i have on the ice haha. I hope you find what you're after. The reports and conditions page is very helpful for information on lakes and ice conditions. this thread is great for everything else you might want to know.

It doesn't sound that appealing to most people I talk to, but going out onto a frozen lake and staring into a hole for the day is my favorite thing to do.
