Anyone have any info as far as some lakes around Dickinson County? Hamilton Lake, Mary Lake, Hanbury Lake... to name a few. Any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks!

Tried out Hamilton and Bass the other day. Hamilton had about 7-8”, Bass was about 5-6”. Hamilton had tons of dink panfish and found a few undersize pike that was it. Bass was a waste, searches for over 2 hours, drilled 30 some holes and never marked or found a fish. I won’t be heading to them anytime soon haha

tried Cowboy Lake and Lake Antoine on 12/12 - about 6" of ice on both but no bites.  saw lots of folks on cowboy lake, but i don't think anybody caught anything.

thinking about checking out the Groveland Mine Ponds this week but it looks like this heat wave is going to continue

Mine ponds should be ready.  Let us know what you find out.

about 8" of ice.  i expected a sloppy mess with how warm it's been but it's pretty nice.

couple nibbles on the south pond.

A group of us from Central Indiana come up towards the end of January and fish Hardwood and Genes Pond (I think....).  I have wondered about the mine ponds but haven't ever really been able to find info on them.  What species are in them?  Look forward to visiting your beautiful area in a month!  Thanks for any info.

I usually fish the south pond.  All I've caught was perch & bluegill in our spot.  Others catch walleye & crappie.  Bring lots of extra hooks as the bottom is full of snags
