Sitting In My Tree Stand Today...

I could see 2 ponds. One was totally locked in and snow covered. The other has patches of open water.

Getting serious cold snap Thursday and Friday!!! May find a little crappy hole to hit Sunday!! Any volunteers to go first???  ;D

I already did. Yesterday afternoon the ice was 5" thick with a foot of snow on top. After 2 hours with no action I pulled my lines and found a 3" bullhead that didn't trip the flag.

One jig rod will do more than 5 traps.  One thing at a time   Fish or Hunt.
