i don't drink coffee but im addicted to damn monster energy drinks..quite drinking booze almost 10 years now and started drinking monster or rockstar drinks and cant get away from them.i try to go a day without one and I get headaches and end up going to the store and buying those expensive drinks..
When I quite drinking beer back in 1982 Fathers day after being thrown in jail while my kids watched this, I started drinking soda. Took until 2002 before I could quit that and now it is either coffee or water. When I did quit the soda I lost 20 lbs. Then I gained it all back when I hurt my back and then some.

I got a perculator pot for fishing hunting  I even leave it on the buddy heatee till the coffe turns thick like molasses. .. which is kinda like the kurig single brew my old man bought..  the first part 2 to 4 oz comes our Like a expresso shot on the kurig ..   the rest is just lite color water to thin the expresso shot..

I stopped drink soda or pop.. I was drinking diet pop it was effecting my kidneys!!  they put sone sort of citric acid along with fruitrose acid wich formes kidney stones really quickly.. I figured my kidney were throbeing after a 2 liter.. cause it was trying to pull the vitamins and minerals for the soda.  I drank a 2 liter or two a week end  while fishing the week end..  so I started drinking coffee and have not felt better since I quit drinking pop.. same stuff is in monster drinks etc.. so heed these wrods of warning get off that stuff asap!

4 you say? I want born until September that year! Started drinking coffee growing up on the farm to pry my eyes open each morning after long hard days and short nights. Cream and enough sugar that if I left the stir stick in for a few minutes I could just about eat the coffee like a popsicle. Kept up the coffee when I left the farm and went to work construction but slowly weaned myself off the cream and sugar. Straight black for me now and its fresh from the Keurig. No coffee, no workee... I work for the Federal Government now so a large coffee intake is practically required- I probably could have put it on my resume to help get hired!  ;) ;D

Hot and black, just like... Never mind.

After morning coffee it's the cheapest seltzer water money can buy. Been offa diet Dew for a coupla decades. As for "adult beverages" my motto is have a little every day that way you don't have to do it all at once to catch up. Seriously, I'm lucky to be able to moderate. Even back in the "dark period" I'd reach a point where my body just told me "that's enough", often it was still quite a bit but I still managed to hit the brakes. Reach a point and it's back to water, juice or maybe a ginger ale (takes a lot less these days). Took lotsa heat from the boys (baby, sissy, pu$$y, etc.) but never did anything I seriously regretted under the influence.

'82? Already married with one in the package deal, one of ours and another one on the way. Lotsa water over the dam since then. Sometimes I kinda long for those days before smartphones that are really dumber than a box of rocks, instant updates on everything and tabloid journalism. Simpler times for sure...

To fish or not to fish? That's a stupid question!

Thanks for making me feel young again!

Almost makes me want to go back and visit that waitress that brought us breakfast last Tuesday. If I were 40 years younger she wouldn't stand a chance...  :P

I can only drink it with creamer, use the powder stuff at work. Will probably screw up my guts but I drink about 1/2 pot each morning then quit around 10:30 am - switch over to water only rest of day
