Brook trout pic’s

 The ice is still holding up and the fish are still biting.Last Saturday  I caught 2 Brookies and 2 Pickerel. Andrew caught a fat 15” beauty and a PB for him.
Today I went back and caught 2 on traps. The hole next to the brook I also caught 2 on a jig tipped with a night crawler. It was awesome watching them hit just under the ice. As I was picking up Rob also jigged one up. I was spread out so I got some exercise!😁. I kept one of of the bleeders for the grill.

Nice! We’re you fishing southern Maine? I’ve been getting restless since the warm up and thoughts of honeycombed ice under heavy snow made me nervous to go out.

No heavy snow! All that has melted off. Easy walking on 5” of junk ice and about 5”-6” of black ice. Stay away from the sunny side.
